Why choose Angela's Ark?
With so many pet care services to choose from nowadays, why would you choose Angela's Ark? I realised a long time ago, that if I was ever sick or needed a holiday, there was nobody I could trust to look after my pets as well as I could. I wanted to find that special somebody that really loved dogs and actually enjoyed going to the country and walking with them. I wanted somebody that really loved pets, and rather than just feed and water them, actually enjoyed interacting with them. So that was how Angela's Ark was born ten years ago, and I feel the same way about animals now as I did then. I treat all animals in my care as though they were my own. How many dogs do you take on a walk?
A policy of mine, as a dog walker, is to have no more than 3 to 4 dogs on a walk at a time. With a maximum of 4 dogs, I am fully in control and the dogs can interact with me - we all have fun. For more information about dog walking, click here.

Where do you go on your dog walks?
I only go to 'safe walks', in the country, away from roads. To keep dogs interested, I use a variety of walks: the Waterhall, Devil's Dyke, Ditchling Beacon and Common, Stanmer Park and on the South Downs. For more information about dog walking, click here.

What happens in an emergency?
Before I take any pets into my care all details are taken down such as contact numbers, the veterinarian's number, the condition of the pet if it has been neutered, vaccinated, etc. In the event of an emergency I will contact the owner to discuss the best course of action. If I cannot reach the owner, and the pet requires medical attention, the pet will be taken to the veterinarian from the details taken.
